  • Working with Aspects of the Soul: Inclusiveness

…. the outstanding characteristic of the soul, or self, whether it is the soul of man, the sensitive nature of the cosmic Christ, or the anima mundi, the soul of the world. This inclusiveness tends to synthesis.

Synthesis, fusion, amalgamation, merging, blending, combining, mixing. No I haven’t been sleeping with my thesaurus. The words arose spontaneously as I considered inclusiveness.

And what about yesterday? It felt good to blog the previous day. Instead of flogging myself to catch up by blogging twice in a day I arose early yesterday – my energy tends to be clearer in the morning. And everything flowed the whole day. From the blogging, to the bank, to the library, to the employment agency, cafe, supermarket, home, research, contemplation. It was as if I was in the flow of life. Not struggling but allowing life to take me where it will.

I reminded myself several times during the day of the intention. What is today all about? There was a sense of deep peace within, and it reflected as I related to those who I met along the way.

I’m not sure how I got there but I arrived at a site that held information about December 21, 2012. The predicted end of times! And I wondered about how I should honour inclusiveness with that. I read prophecy regarding the I Ching and also the Hopi Indian prophecy. They spoke of signposts along the way and of ignorance. And yet I felt no fear of impending doom. Upheaval maybe. But I’m going through that at the moment anyway.

I often read these prophecies and I return to 100% responsibility. What might that mean for me? If the whole world is a mirror and everything is projection? Can I relax and be buoyant enough to allow life to flood through me? Am I flexible and rooted enough so as not to be torn up by the hurricanes whirling around me?

Inclusiveness also means forgiveness. I forgot to mention yesterday that I was into Dr Wayne Dyer’s chapter on forgiveness in When you Believe It You’ll See It. And I see now that its perfect being here. That practicing forgiveness creates the space for inclusiveness. It honours the sense of separation brought on by unresolved emotion toward a person or situation, and heals it.

I was concerned because I’d missed it out of both humility and responsibility for it touches both of them as well. Taking responsibility to change those things that are unresolved within you, and having the humility to admit the wrongness of the situation.

    Blessings to you
